The Verner Panton chair, produced by Vitra and available in a shiny white color, is an iconic plastic chair that originated in the brain of the visionary designer Verner Panton in 1960. The design evolved further in 1967 thanks to a fruitful collaboration with Vitra. This chair is made of polyurethane foam and is from 1984. The chair appears to have been professionally repainted, we are not sure if this is original. The current Verner panton chairs are made of a different type of plastic, namely polypropylene. A true design classic, a milestone in the history of furniture design.
