This chair combines clean lines, chrome legs, floating wooden armrests and comfortable new hr foam cushions upholstered with Kvadrat Tonica 2 – 0773. The Palty Sitwell system under the seat provides extra comfort!

Rob Parry (1925-2023) was a Dutch furniture and industrial designer, known for his modernist designs with clean lines, functionality and minimalism. Parry was strongly influenced by the principles of the De Stijl movement and the work of renowned designers such as Gerrit Rietveld and Le Corbusier.
Parry’s designs were both elegant and practical and he used materials such as steel, wood and leather to create furniture that was functional and comfortable. Parry’s “Lotus” chair won the prestigious Signe d’Or award in 1959.
Throughout his career, Parry has designed furniture for several prominent Dutch companies, including Gelderland and Metaform. He was also a professor of industrial design at Delft University of Technology and a member of the Association of Dutch Designers.
Parry’s work has had a lasting impact on the world of furniture design, with several of his designs still in production today. Parry’s vintage pieces are collected by design lovers.
