Ingo Maurer floor lamp Plexola, designed in 1977 and made by Design M. This lamp appears to burn without wiring. Something that was not thought possible in that era. But there are three very fine, almost invisible wires in the transparent plexiglass stand. The black metal shade almost seems to float. The base of this floor lamp is made of black anodized aluminum, the middle part is made of transparent plexiglass and then a black anodized aluminum piece. On top of that a large shade in black anodized aluminum. The Plexola floor lamp is quite rare.
