“Scale” or “Toonladder” coat rack designed by Coen de Vries in 1953. In 1954 taken into production by DEVO (the Netherlands). A fine example of Dutch Mid Century Design. Designed for Good Living. This special coat rack is made of black metal tubing, has a hat shelf of white metal tubing, twelve original clothes hooks made of curved plastic-coated colored electric wire and five ‘fake hooks’.
